Emperor Buffet in Rancho Mirage

I absolutely love coming here for a nice dinner with some friends and family. The Hibachi and sushi rolls are delicious, as well as the crab legs. The Watermelon was as juicy and delicious as always. Overall great ambiance and the staff is friendly. Well done!!!

I give this place an extra star for having fresh oysters but other than that, it's just mediocre Chinese...I don't see how the place has 4.1 stars though. Maybe because it's the only buffet in a middle of the desert. I'd recommend, spend a few dollars more for a meal if it's not just for survival.

All you can eat buffet with sushi and desert bar. You can't beat it. This is the deal of the valley. Under 20$ for dinner and under $15 for lunch.

Bathrooms could use remodeling and more cleaning! Whole place actually could use a makeover...but they do serve great food options, I personally love the breaded shrimp and rice and sesame balls.

They have a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and some American food. Most of it is tasty, but it's not the best I've ever had. It's not too pricey, and it's clean. I go often.

Me and my boyfriend went had 3 beers each and they cut us off. Very disrespectful. I was really offended made us feel like not coming back.

Perfect selection of buffet food. There is literally something for everyone. Gluten free fare offered with fresh seafood, salads, cooked to order with what you like the way you want it food. Plenty of meat choices, although steak was not on the menu. Pork, chicken, fish a plenty. Desserts and fresh fruit, pudding, ice cream, jello. 2nd visit and this was just as good as the 1st. Recommend week day dining. Went on a Sunday at lunch time and it was a zoo, but they keep fresh hot food rotating so nothing seemed stale or like it had been sitting for a while

This is a good Chinese buffet. Lots of choices to pick from. They are consistently replenishing the supply so it is fresh. I enjoyed the seafood which included crab, clams, shrimp, fishes, and others. I enjoyed the many different styles of preparation. I would go there again.

Excellent Asian buffet, service is outstanding, veriety is out standing, clean, clean, clean, the service is with a smile. I can not find nothing negative to say, if you like and enjoy Asian food, CHECK IT OUT, YOU JUST MAY LOVE IT THERE.

Great place for seniors on a budget. The food is ok but not high end

Been awhile since I've been to Emperor Buffet. I should go try it again. As buffets go this one's not too bad. Food is hot and taste good.

Went around 1:30pm-2pm ...estimated time to get a table : immediately, great atmosphere, clean place and quick service ..waitres are on top of the game ,friendly and welcoming staff,fresh food and affordable prices.

Always super fresh, the friendliest staff in the desert. They have a HIBACHI included in your dinner available for all guests. Sushi and supprises to eat especially on weekends. Beer and wine, they do an excellent job refilling the all you can eat entries.

Great for lunch 11.00 dinner is awesome too just costs a couple bucks more with different options than lunch

Good food for the price. Also has a hibachi bar and sushi. Great selection for both lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly/professional, and Johnny on the spot.

Kinda dirty looking... but I love the buffet. Sushi and chinese. Great choice for large groups of different appetites.

A great variety of food to choose from. I found most of it to be a little bland. The salt and pepper shakers and condiments at the table were sticky/needed to be cleaned.Go at lunch time for the best price. Dinner was pricey to me, but I am used to Michigan prices

Fantastic food, always fresh with a Mongolian BBQ and sushi bar. You have to try the King Crab legs, and fresh oysters.

The food is great but I think they could clean a little bit more the bathrooms

During this pandemic,they are practicing great social distancing. And enforcing the rules. Needs a little bit more of the selection of sushi. Yummy food otherwise.

Great buffet if you have young ones they have the best French fries, chicken nuggets and pizza. Everything we had was great from the wontons to the noodles. Service was great hard working and on it with the refills. Will be coming again soon.

It is good here. Fresh food tended to constantly. There are staff cleaning up after the crowds and the hibachi grill is on demand. They make sushi as it runs out so you can potentially get fresh.

Great food, huge selection, great service, great price

I wouldn't call this place old fashioned or quaint. I call it grim. It's like a place from the 60's has survived until now without so much as a new coat of paint or a good cleaning. I went to take a friend for his birthday lunch. It's his favorite place. I don't understand why. I don't eat sushi, so I can't speak to that, but most of the rest of the food looked mostly inedible. I did eat, and I didn't get sick, surprise surprise. Next year he had better choose another place, or I will for him.

The food is very good. Waiters are very good. But the manger is very bad. He talk in a very unrespictable way. Asking for more money .He mad our family day too sad. I advice all family that have kids not to go there

If you want to taste a lot of Chinese food, a lot of Chinese food then this can be a good place. Lots of seafood: shrimp, crab, crayfish, fish, and even rolls. You can also try oysters, for such a price you can say nothing. The choice is simply huge, and cheap enough. But if you want to try haute cuisine, then obviously you should not choose this place.

Food looked good but was NOT. i don't know what it was but everything I tried just tasted off. Not coming back.

Big buffet.. Good for Chinese buffet.. Better than most.. But my rule is can't give any buffet more than 3 stars

Thus place is falling in my ratings.Not as good as before, plus terribly expensive for a Oriental Buffet. $42.00 not including tip for two people not worth it.

For a buffet it's still pretty good food. Sushi very tasty & fresh compared to previous year. Mongolia grill allows for personal choice. Hubby loves the Hot & Sour soup. There's even some dim sum. Recommend try it - there's something for everyone's diet choices.
